The automotive world has always had a soft spot for TV adverts and over the years we’ve been provided with some absolute greats. So when the Super Bowl took place yesterday it provided another opportunity for us to cast our curious gaze upon a fresh batch of adverts (or commercials, depending on your geographical point of origin).
Audi, Ford and Jaguar are all present and even Maserati made a rare appearance in what we’re ear marking as one of the best car related adverts we’ve seen for some time.
As for who takes this year’s crown, we’ll you decide on that.
“Have you ever wondered why in Hollywood movies, all the villains are played by Brits?”
“Walk out of the shadows, quietly walk out of the dark – and strike.”
“When Johnny Galecki happens upon an attractive young woman driving the same “Nice” Hyundai Elantra as him, sparks, pavement, cars and even Richard Lewis fly.”
“When it’s made here, it’s made with the one thing you can’t import from anywhere else, American pride.”
“An unsuspecting couple meets Morpheus at a valet stand. He presents them with two choices: a red key or a blue key.”
“Audi has conceived a never-before-seen creature to show the frightening consequences of bringing compromise into the world”
“Restlessness is the feeling you get when you deny your curiosity too long.”
“Room for a whole flock of chickens, Terry Crews, a grand piano and the Muppets, but no room for boring.”
“Every time a Volkswagen hits 100,000 miles, a German Engineer gets his wings.”
“Life” celebrates survivors and those who support them on the road to recovery.”
