CLC PS3 – Meet the Contenders

The Codies League Championship (CLC) is back! Starting June 27th you’ll be able to watch incredible spectacles of online racing, featuring some of the top leagues on PlayStation competing for the Championship title. The CLC consists of 5 weekly races, and we’re happy to confirm that each and every one will be streamed live on Twitch.
Every race will feature two members from each league battling it out across some of the most iconic circuits in the world – check out the full championship calendar below.
We had a quick chat with each league admin about the CLC and their title prospects, let us know on Twitter who you’ll be cheering on!
“Both myself and our drivers were delighted to hear we had been chosen to take part in the Codies League Championship! Having loved the idea when it was launched on Xbox it will be great to be taking part rather than just spectating! Competition will be tough, however we feel we have the best post possible line ups going forward during the next few weeks. I speak on behalf of all our drivers saying we can’t wait to get started!”
“As one of the largest online racing communities, PrecisionRacingLeague.com is very excited to have two of our European PS3 Championship drivers participate in the Codemasters League Championship. André Mittelstädt (ne-yo1993) & Sam Kelsall (Red-Bantha-95) will be representing PRL, and we wish them the best of luck. We know they’ll do PRL proud!”
“We are honoured to have been given the chance to take part in the League Championship. It’s a brilliant opportunity for our drivers to compete against some of the very best around. Our drivers are really excited, and like them, we can’t wait for things to get started. We’re competing against six really tough racing leagues, and it’s going to be a real challenge; but we’re quietly confident of taking the fight to them.”
“We are very surprised at being given this fantastic opportunity to be represented in such a big event. We’re looking forward to seeing how our guys fair in the championship against other league racers, I’m sure the competition will be stiff, but we have faith that our guys will do us proud.”
“To be granted a spot representing The Online Challenge in the Codies League Championship is fantastic. It gives us the chance to pit our best drivers against the other fastest drivers on the Playstation platform! We are not sure of what to expect from other drivers in response to the times we have been producing ourselves in early practice sessions, but our main objective will be to fly our flag high and give any league a run for their money (cleanly and fairly it must also be added)!
We are all really looking forward to this enthralling challenge and can’t wait for what can only be a thrilling race in prospect in Melbourne, see you all on track and may the best man win.”
“Hello! First, thanks for everything. We are very happy to participate here. We saw the Xbox 360 Codies League Championship and it was very interesting. Fair play, good battles and enjoyment, that’s what’s important to us! Greetings from Spain, and again, thank you very much. See you soon in Australia!”
“We are honoured to have been accepted into the Codies PS3 F1 League and our two main elected drivers cannot wait for it to start. We have chosen two of our fastest drivers to represent Formula Playstation. They both have expressed they are expecting to be fighting for the wins; but with other very fast leagues also competing, it is going to be a good, hard fought challenge. They also look forward to working together as team-mates which will be a new dynamic for them. All-in-all, we can’t wait to get the racing underway! We will see you on the track in Melbourne!”
Make sure to tune into our Twitch channel on 27/06/14 at 8:00pm BST for the first race in Australia!
