Codies Weekly Update 13-06-14

Great news everybody! I’m back from my holiday and you’ll be pleased to hear the sun is shining above the Warwickshire countryside this week. Thanks to Luke for picking up the slack last week while I sat around in my pyjamas playing Watch Dogs, but without further ado let’s get cracking with this week’s update.
This Week’s Big News
This week we dropped a STACK of info on GRID Autosport’s Tuner Discipline. First up, let’s check out a hot-off-the-press drift gameplay featuring the Nissan 2003 (S15) Silvia on the Autosport Raceway .
Nice, huh? The Tuner discipline will test your throttle management skills to the limit in Drift events and ask you to thrash Muscle cars and get fast and furious behind the wheel of Super Modified motors in Time Attack events and races.
To join in the GRID Autosport discussion head on over to the forums, follow us on Twitter or like us on Facebook and in case you missed it this week we also announced our complete car and track list.
If you hadn’t already done so then there’s still time left to pre-order the Black Edition while PC Racing fans will be pleased to hear that pre-orders are now live on Steam.

DiRT
DiRT Fan tbtstt shared his album of photos from the Rallycross at Lydden Hill this week, and what a truly awesome set of photos they are.
Swing by his flickr album to check them out
This week’s #throwbackthursday went out to DiRT 2. We’ve still not managed to settle the argument of which is better DiRT 2 or DiRT 3 – have your say by tweeting your favourite to @dirtgame.

Formula 1
Wow, what a race this weekend! We don’t think anybody saw THAT coming, and it certainly shook up the Codemasters GP Predictor League!

Video of the Week
World Cup fever has swept across Codemasters, charts are up on the walls, football shirts are becoming common attire(seriously, we’ve seen England, Argentina, Cameroon and Brazil just to name a few so far) so we’ve decided to fire up Sensible World of Soccer at Lunch to try and predict the result of one of that day’s games.
Our predictions aren’t going exactly brilliantly (we ended up with Croatia beating Brazil… 6-5?!) but out of two games played, there have been 19 goals and one sending off, so we’re certainly delivering value for money and plenty of entertainment. Make sure you never miss a game and subscribe to our Twitch TV channel.

Do you even drift bro?
That’s your lot this week. You’ve all been lovely, thanks for coming and we’ll be back with more Codemasters goodness next Friday.
