What’s better than a normal weekend..? Yup that’s right, a three-day weekend! To get things kicked off we’ve got a jam-packed Codies Weekly Update and it starts right now!

Formula 1

This week we’re showing off F1 2014’s Red Bull Ring, a circuit that’s new to the series and one we can’t stop playing in the office! This fast, undulating circuit has four flat out stretches and really is a great addition to the game.

To cap off the week we’ve also released our Spa Hot Lap which see’s Force India’s Nico Hulkenberg tackle the mighty Eau Rouge:

And to celebrate the return of Formula 1 after the mid-season break we’ve doubled the XP you can earn and knocked 50% off Williams drivers in the store for this weekend only. That’s not to mention the 10 free gems you can unlock for playing on Sunday too.

GRID

This week signals the start of the Intel Challenge, an event that will take place over two weeks with the fastest drivers on all three platforms (PC, PS3 and Xbox 360) being awarded prizes based on their final standings.

Taking part is easy, simply fire up GRID Autosport, head into the RaceNet Challenge section within Multiplayer and enter the events located within the Party Mode section.

DiRT

Team DiRT are busy clearing out the swag cupboard and gave away the very last pair of DC DiRT 3 kicks this week… ohhh don’t be sad you missed it, though it is your own fault for not following @dirtgame on Twitter. They’ll be giving away more loot next week so make sure you give them a follow!
