Codies Weekly Update 12-12-14

It’s colder than a Finnish rally stage out there folks, so crank the heating up to ‘cosy’, grab yourself a cup of tea and settle down for your Friday Codies Weekly Update.
Today’s big news is that it’s National Christmas Jumper day!
Experienced Level Designer Becky Crossdale has been getting everybody in the festive mood, and helping raise money for Save The Children, by getting the team to wear their favourite fair or foul Christmas threads for a small donation to a great charity. You can check out how you can make the world better with a sweater here.
This week we were absolutely over the moon to have won Games Radar’s Racing Game of the Year award for GRID Autosport! We also placed number 15 on their list of games that defined 2014 – and we’re in some good company too. Swing by gamesradar.com for the full list.

Working with @Formula1game today. Recorded a lot of lines about @JensonButton Really hoping that they’ll still be relevant for F12015!

So there you have it, short and sweet this week. In fact this could be the last traditional Codies Weekly Update this year, as next week we’re planning a very special look back at 2014. So if you’ve got a story to share about a Codemasters game (old or new) from this year, tweet it @codemasters, post it on our Facebook wall or sound off in the comments below and you just might get a mention (maybe even a prize)!
