Your Guide To F1® 2019’s Free Trial

With the 2020 F1® season still a long way away, now’s the best time to get into F1® 2019. And what better way than with a free trial? Luckily for you, we’re here to ease you nice and gently into the world of F1® 2019.
Playing on PlayStation 4? You can find the trial here.
Playing on Xbox? You can find your trial here.
Welcome to F1® 2019! The first thing you’ll need to do is select your driver. Choose your avatar, enter your driver’s name, three letter abbreviation, nationality and so on
Once you’ve done that, you can then select ‘Start New Career’ to begin. You’ll first need to select an F2™ team. Whilst F2™ is a spec series – each car is the same – you’ll need to select your team.
After that, you’ll just need to select the driver academy. When progressing to F1, your contract offers will also be influenced by your Reputation, and by picking a driver academy at the start of the game, you can choose which teams you want to earn bonus Reputation with over the course of the Feeder Series.
Now you’re ready to go – you’ll be taken through a series of scenarios that will create the standout moments of your F2™ season prior to your entry into F1®! Good luck!
The scenarios have more than one outcome: did you choose to let your faster teammate past or not? (Spoiler: we didn’t, but you might choose differently!) Your choices are key here. That’s not all; the Feeder Series also gives you a number of cutscenes that allow these choices to play out via your interactions with the game’s characters: Lukas Weber, your teammate, and Devon Butler, your closest rival.
Here’s the thing: the choices you make are remembered, and can continue to inform the kinds of questions asked by the press not just during the Feeder Series, but throughout your career in F1®. And it’s not just the reporters – the commentators will also remember the events of the Feeder Series and refer to them when discussing you and your F2™ rivals.
If you’ve yet to experience F1® 2019, this is the perfect time to dive in. Need some beginner’s tips? Start here!
