The first round of the the 2017 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP™ is very nearly on us! The drivers, teams and cars are already in Melbourne awaiting the start of the season. Because there’s no time like a new F1™ season, we’ve got a brand new event on PlayStation 4 you can register for right now!

This is the last event available to play on PS4, and we think it’s a good one! Can you take Daniel Ricciardo to victory at his home grand prix? We’re giving you the chance to do just that with our event: An action packed start at the 2016 FORMULA 1 ROLEX AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX sees the unfortunate Daniel Ricciardo in the gravel trap and running last. Can the local hero turn his fortunes around and take a superb race win for the Red Bull Racing team?

We’re very happy to say that you can register for this event right now by heading to ‘Events’ on the main menu. In addition to giving Daniel Ricciardo a home win, we’re also giving you the opportunity to win some cool F1™ 2016 game merchandise! All you need to do to be in with a chance of winning is complete our event when it opens on the 23rd March and send us a video of your race. There’s plenty of ways you can send us your event race – upload it to YouTube and tweet us the link, or send it us in an email to competitions@codemasters.com. However you decide to send it to us, the event is open for you to take part now and you’ve got until midday GMT 28th March to get your entries in to us. We’ll be announcing the winner on our blog page, so make sure you keep an eye out!

Good luck!
