The first race of the night: Suzuka, Japan. Williams Esports driver Alvaro Carreton started the race on pole, but was chased down by the charging Bull of Rasmussen, who would go on to take the chequered flag. SportPesa Racing Point Esports’s Lucas Blakeley took second, his best result of the Pro Series so far, with Toro Rosso Esports Team’s Patrik Holzmann grabbing the last podium place.

Onto the next race: Circuit of the Americas. Rasmussen started on pole position and charged to victory. With rival Tonizza finishing in sixth, Rasumussen took lead of the driver championship by four points with one race to go, and helped secure the Teams’ title for Red Bull Racing Esports too!

This was it. The final race of the Series, and what a stage for the final race – Interlagos. David Tonizza put his car on pole position, but Rasmussen could only manage seventh. The scene was set for a dramatic last race. Starting beside Tonizza on the grid was Bereznay, and as the lights went out the pair traded places for the lead, whilst Rasmussen pitted early, trying to see if an undercut would help his fortunes. The bold strategy failed to come to fruition as he left the pits in thirteenth place, and struggled to get further than tenth. Daniel Bereznay took the chequered flag, with David Tonizza coming over the line in second, confirming him as the driver’s champion for 2019.
We did it! @David_Tonizza wrote his personal page in history books. In his first professional appearance he managed to secure the World Championship for the FDA @Hublot Esports Team.
Congratulations Tonzilla! We are proud of what you achieved.#FerrariEsports #F1Esports pic.twitter.com/C5Q8tWNMXZ— FerrariEsports (@FerrariEsports) December 5, 2019
